There are no explicit requirements for players who would like to participate in this event. However, we do expect participants to have a full understanding of the WRC ruleset and a solid amount of in-person play experience. This event is meant to cultivate a serious competitive environment and to that end we would ask players to participate with that in mind. We are particularly interested in players who would like to participate in the WRC Pro program and have their results from this event carry over to future participation in that program.

While in the future there may be events that are exclusive to the WRC Pro organization, this event is open to any player who wishes to participate in a competitive environment. We definitely hope that participants join the WRC Pro family, attending this event does not obligate players to join the organization and the WRC seat award will be available to any participant that successfully wins the event.

All participants will have their results stored for optional future use. If a player does choose to join the WRC Pro program in the future, these “banked” results can be immediately used for progress!

By default, the use of mobile phones, smart watches etc. is not allowed during games. This has several reasons: insurance problems, time loss, noise and most important: we want our players to not lose touch with manual counting and handling point sticks. While apps provide a great possibility to keep track of points at any given moment, we are convinced that good players are able to count and keep track of points by themselves.
